Bird nerd moment: Heard a Chuck-will's-widow calling out behind our house tonight! I recorded several clips of it - I was really amazed! We're at the exact northern edge of it's range and with the storms that blew through last night I wonder if it got pushed farther north than it normally goes. Wish I could have seen it but damn - what a treat!
