G-d I HATE systemd/journald Want to see email: journalctl -u postfix You get a bunch of startup/shutdown messages. Want to see ACTUAL email (smtp): journalctl -u postfix@- These people are f*cking insane!! It use to all be /var/log/mail.log - easy as mother-f*cking apple pie!!! Want to see what services you can choose from, use systemctl NOT journalctl: systemctl list-units --type service More and more and more and more I'm leaning towards BSD just to get away from these systemd nitwits.
