@DJGummikuh You don't have to, they recommend it (as every other distribution does), as it is the safest way to perform updates. If you don't care a potential flawed life system after updates, you can just dnf up from your terminal and update in-place (with all the dangers)

@rarepublic I couldn't, not for 42->43 at least. and according to documentation I found, it is "categorically mandatory" to do this offline update
