@actuallyautistic Just saw this. It obviously doesn't go into any great depth. But, I found it interesting that there seems to be an increase in auditory processing problems (APD) with the increased use of noise-cancelling headphones. As usual, there is no distinction apparently being made between those genuinely experiencing difficulties that they hadn't before, and those coming to realise a difficulty that they'd actually always had. I am particularly thinking about the neurodivergent and especially the unrealised neurodivergent.
