@ctietze Yes, the base implementation took minutes, building on Retcon’s existing rewriting engine. What then took a lot of time was ① supporting copy-paste of virtual commits (stuff you create while paused; that Git itself doesn't know about) and ② surprisingly, the design: it was pretty hard getting people to notice commit copy-and-paste, without telling them outright
