@freddy They must have gotten astronomically lucky for their random number generator to find this. Someone tell them to buy lottery tickets before the luck wears off!
I had stopped reading after figuring out it was an AI advertisement.

@jackemled I wrote about this in https://frederikbraun.de/feels-and-llms.html. I hate it so much, but this isn’t luck. You can crank out bugs in the hundreds if you know how. :(

@jackemled @freddy if anything, they’re exaggerating how important the AI was to this endeavor: the fundamental shape of the flaw was identified by a human in design review and they used the AI to “scale the research,” which is pretty vague
