well, we'll see if i can get through the technical interview lol. not convinced with the interview format (CS problem to solve with your choice of programming language, and discussion about the algorithmic complexity, and then a feature design interview) for a platform engineering role but i mean. i don't choose how those things work

like i think most platform engineers / devops / systems admin kind of people sometimes work with code but almost always on already-existing codebases, and don't generally have to interact with code complexity that much, especially not without an actual dev colleague nearby to take a second look. otoh it feels like architecture design, with maybe an ansible/puppet/terraform PoC, would make more sense (that's what my previous company did, btw)
