@hex hmmm… I kind of want to avoid pure horror, but something like Midsommar or The Ritual spring to mind if you go that direction. Have you seen Mirrormask (2005)? I think that’s very much a YMMV kind of picture, but it’s Labyrinth adjacent

@Thomas i actually adored Mirrormask (2005) when it came out. The Ritual is also a favorite in the house... this might be a fun reason to break it out again
