@mosgaard I believe that the main advantage of AppImage is that it crams everything it needs in, at the expense of larger size and possibly some performance overhead. In other words, it never knows anything about your existing stuff, ideally. I am not a big wine user so I'm not even that certain what you are talking about now 🤣 But getting better at it is a near item on the todo list, cause I own a couple of Strymon guitar pedals that have management software, which of course only runs on Windoze or Mac.
