Anecdotal Claude Coding results this week - generate a React web page that queries an API: insanely good, 10x faster, arguably better quality than what I can do - a complex data warehouse query: probably 10x slower, worse quality, and especially if you consider all the times it led me down blind alleys and then forgot what it was doing Maybe data engineering is harder because it has the least boilerplate? Like, it’s literally your business data in its purest form, all knowledge, no filler
