@Remittancegirl @ApostateEnglishman yes, the image of elderly people being carried away by uniformed officers is sufficiently irksome to the polite majority
I stood up and was handcuffed as I did not want to be manhandled - this is just me though

@Geri Everyone does what they can, right? But I have noticed that the UK really does have strong feelings about how the elderly are treated publicly. (Sad they don't worry so much about how they're treated behind closed doors in hospitals and homes, but that's another thing). @ApostateEnglishman
