#那年東眼山斜角派出所 For my next read in Chinese, I’m going to read the novel 那年，東眼山，斜角派出所 by Yen Yu 顏瑜 (my favourite Taiwanese author so far!) I read two of his police novels, and I loved them more than I could say, so I’m excited to start a new one! I say “police novels” not as in “genre” like police procedural, but more as in “topic”, because the books describe in detail the daily work of police officers and criticise the flaws of the system. The novel is quite short, so maybe I can finish it this month. :meow_read2:
