@SnowyCA I'm also not a trained economist, more of an avid reader armchair type It doesn't sound to me like nonsense and if Carney practised Keynesian economics (as most governments did in the era after WW2) I would expect it to be an accurate prediction; however Carney is a neoliberal economist and my expectation is that he'll continue to cut taxes on the wealthiest in a bid to spur economic development (neoliberal economics 101) to fund the war machine while borrowing in the interim and put us at risk of a Greece style economic meltdown.
