Since September I have applied for literally several hundred jobs. I have had multiple 1st, 2nd, and 3rd round interviews for both graphic & UX design roles—remote, in-person, and hybrid. I recognize there’s something in my resume or character or portfolio that isn’t quite clicking. I can’t change that my career spans 30 years & has meandered where my interests & opportunities led me. I have a strong body of work & three iOS apps in the App Store so I’m not an idiot. I’m taking the rest of my “stake” (my retirement) & shoving it all into the center of the table. I’m betting on me. I’m pursuing my passion for this final act. 🎱
