Ordered a LoRa meshy radio from Seeed, got it yesterday, flashed from website meshcore.io, bumbled radio settings until I saw "choose preset", chose "US", then was on the waves at 910.525 MHz.
Beep, boop...
Contacts, mostly repeaters, started showing up as the radio saw packets go by.
I sent out an "Alert • Flood Routed".
Repeaters kept answering, saying "Yeah, we see you."
Bouncy-bouncy, from the Coast to the Central Valley, Sonoma to SLO.
Pretty cool for 150 mW.

@murodegrizeco small nitpick for the benefit of newcomers, nothing answers flood adverts - it would cause a packet storm. Nodes just advertise their presence occasionally, so it takes a while to start to see things. Just in case anyone turns their radio on does a flood advert and doesn’t see anything for 5 minutes. Double check your radio settings and then let it listen. Gotta be patient.
