I was homeless a few times as a kid/teen and I can thankfully say fuck that and I would never glorify it. It definitely changed who I could have been but I also wouldn't have the life I currently enjoy. But I would never justify, recommend or rationalize it. The person writing this poem either has never been homeless or is delusional.

Do you know God? That would have made my life hell, not realizing consciousness is the base substance of reality and everything we each experience is procedurally generated in our personal reality tunnel.
