Day one of a brief unseasonal heatwave triggered by El Nino and the climate emergency in general. The central heating is still on, and the trees love the sun and warm weather, so they're releasing their pollen effusively -- no opening the windows for me. The local catkins are almost emptied, but the ones in Scandinavia are still full, and so the wind currents blow the pollen around the region. I do see a lessening of pollen concentration after the heatwave, though pockets in the north still show a high pollen load, so we're not finished yet. It's so weird that the city-level pollen tracker shows low pollen counts, though. People often show me this number when my symptoms say otherwise (and other trackers say otherwise, too, so I don't know what's going on there).

@Furthering@convo.casa Those who don't suffer from pollen allergies hear from people that spring means isolation (unless it's cold and it rains), but they can't really experience what it means. I wish you a few days of no-pollen weather!
