new metric: Dave-o-meter
What is the ratio of non-men to people called "Dave" in the meeting?
Brought to you by a Dave who recently was in a meeting with more Daves than non-men 😕

@millerdl@mathstodon.xyz I regret to inform you that the Dave-o-meter was in use by a friend twenty years ago to describe their CS program when I was considering applying. But I am fully in support of continuing it's use to point out how bad a meeting might be.

@millerdl@mathstodon.xyz In our office there's a sign in one hallway that says "Welcome to DaveVille" as there's three Daves there. Two of them are in the same department and have the same initials. For the last part, though, I work at a nursing union so there are generally more women than men on staff.
