So Kaohsiung also has a tram or LRT with a special feature! The tram runs without any overhead wire between the stations. Instead it charges its supercaps in each station and runs on the stored energy. At least this makes the tracks look really neat without adding a lot of visual clutter. I wonder how smooth this system is in operation though. #TripToTaiwan
