@sarahscully How goes the certification?
I remember looking at things like Digital Archivist certificate years ago, and it was always outside of my means to pay.
I think my current library would be okay if I looked at something, but I'm not really sure what I would like to do.

@fskornia@glammr.us I’m getting exposed to some tools I might not have had the motivation to look into otherwise. This certificate (not a certification) is helping me develop better understanding of the size and scope of starting a digital repository / archive and may help me advocate for a position review with my current employer. 2/3

@fskornia@glammr.us Good news is they’re also paying the tuition. I wouldn’t be spending $10K of my own money on this. I did look at Soc. Am. Archivists certification but those materials looked outdated AND you have to renew and keep paying for classes to keep certification current. 3/3
