@relee It can be beneficial to down the rabbit hole just a bit! When you better understand what is going on with the CPU and its components, you are better able to understand why your code performs so well/poorly on the target platform. This allows you to optimise your code to do the same job, but faster/with less resources. It's a lost art nowadays, what with everyone just using Javascript and entire copies of Google Chrome for software...
