Talking to my neighbor, I got the report of all the other neighbors observing me. "You had someone banging on your door today?" Yes I did. I noticed, thanks. "And she saw you went to the store or something yesterday, your car was gone." Sure did. "She hasn't seen you and your dog in a while but I told her you walk her later, when I get back from bingo."
They really put the watch in neighborhood watch.

I feel kind of itchy and uncomfortable over this but there's nothing I can do about it. I suppose it would be better if I knew these people, but mostly I don't.
