@KekunPlazas what is this? A MAP FOR ANTS!? Eh hem... No, it's Fodor's Travel Guide for the Canadian Rockies. TIL that you can open embedded images in a dedicated viewer and zoom and pan around to your hearts content. There is a brief visual echo during panning but the screen quickly refreshes after you finish swiping.

@KekunPlazas I was thinking that Mandarin would be a good option to test out translation dictionaries but couldn't find an epub dictionary... Until I found the Collins Mandarin Chinese Visual Dictionary! In retrospect this is probably more what an intrepid adventurer would be looking for in a hurry anyway There's broad scope for quality of survial books I'm guessing. As long as you're able to get a decent epub my guess is most survival books would be fine. Unfortunately I'm not well versed with botanicals. Any recommendations on specific reference books I can look out for? I think it's a pretty cool idea to have a bug-out collection of travel ebooks that you can side load in a hurry, I'll defo be carrying my kobo next time I go camping with the family 🏕️
