I really want a small cheap, electric car with a few convenience and safety features. But there's not such a thing on the market yet, so I think I will ditch it and wait for a year or two. I have a spare ICE car.

@supakaity @joelle I may be a couple decades behind what's cool but my wife and I both bought used 2017 Bolt EVs. We love them. We ditched gasoline completely over a year ago now with no regrets. I also think the Ioniq-5 looks interesting, and if I had a wad of money to burn I would look at a Rivian. (It's good to have dreams, I think.) That said, I think the Bolts are cheaper (because they fast charge slowly, but also) because of the battery recall issues. It was a bit of a pain to get that fixed and I would hesitate to buy a car that still needs it done, however; now I have a 6 year old car with a 1 year old battery pack, so that's pretty nice.
