Hi everyone, we're getting a few new accounts and migrations at the moment which is hitting the server CPU a bit and causing page loading lag. I'll be restarting the server and upgrading it so we can deal with the influx without affecting existing users. Restart planned for about 20 minutes at 04:00 UTC (14:00 AEST. 15:00 AEDT)

Hi fellow Blåhajers, I've been working on the issues with the CW/NSFW/read more/image/video/audio buttons not working properly, and navigating users to another page. As of now, I believe that I have caught all edge cases and you can now recklessly expand and contract, show and hide things in the existing pages without an extra navigation step. Blåhaj zone instance has been upgraded! I've merged in the updates from Calckey 13.1.4 into our instance, as well as added new configuration settings to control what types of notifications appear in your sidebar/menu. The new settings are in Settings/Appearance right at the bottom. You can control which sections you do and do not want to see the unread indicator for separately.

Blåhaj zone's software has been updated and had the latest Calckey 13.2 beta merged into our fork. As part of this code update, the post threading has been changed to the new code designed by @freeplay@bz.pawdev.me, with the Blåhaj appearance settings retrofitted into it. This results in a change to the look and feel of the threaded notes page, however colorized borders, backgrounds, compact mode, auto show content warnings and auto expand posts still work, they just look a little differe...

So, post editing has been in use for about 12 hours now, and several users have been using with success and without the sky falling, so I think it is reasonably safe to say that it's probably a good idea to get more users testing it now. I've recently found myself without much to do (short version: the company that my company was contracting to went into voluntary administration just before Christmas, while Ada and I were away in Melbourne), so I've had a little bit of time on my hands to do some work on the site infrastructure, free from meetings and corporate wankery.
