@ashur@front-end.social I believe the cost of using weather data is going to be cost prohibitive.
Makes me wonder if you could hook up a Raspberry Pi or Arduino to a thermometer and have it notify you when the temperature hits your set point?

@fahrni@curmudgeon.cafe shoot yeah, that’s a great point — I suppose a yearly Developer Account bill alone might start to outweigh the cost savings of micromanaging my windows 😂 you’re right, I might need to investigate an actual monitor that gives me a local reading (and maybe learn something new in the process, like a good computer nerd! ☺️)
