@tojiro don’t mean to be the one who ruins the party, so please don’t get me wrong, but I’m genuinely interested in the following as I’m thinking of purchasing similar setup at some point:
1. How long will it take to get a full ROI on panels+batteries+EV?
2. And will your panels and batteries actually remain intact/relevant/usable by then?
3. If not or not sure - how much would it cost to recycle and replace this setup and how much money/time to get full ROI that adds to the equation?

@in_sympathy ROI on the panels/batteries was estimated to be 6 years, and it looks like we're on track for that. The system is rated for 20 years+, so we'll definitely be getting our money's worth out of them. I never evaluated ROI on the car (I was going to buy a new one anyway, so that made it simpler.)
