@in_sympathy ROI on the panels/batteries was estimated to be 6 years, and it looks like we're on track for that. The system is rated for 20 years+, so we'll definitely be getting our money's worth out of them.
I never evaluated ROI on the car (I was going to buy a new one anyway, so that made it simpler.)

@tojiro @in_sympathy ROI I think is a different term, but it's 2am so I'm not positive. Is that the simple payback (capital cost divided by savings in first year?). It won't be quite accurate thanks to having to discount future costs and savings but it's a good ballpark to start with.
