Councillor Johnson (not Gower) is proposing a motion at next week's PH Committee to waive $2,487 in permit fees to allow struggling indie business (/s) IKEA to put up a 3-storey digital driver distraction sign on one of the largest commercial walls in #Ottawa.

@Centretowner@urbanists.social it will be his legacy as he departs from public life...or goes to run for some conservative party. Or not. City councillor seems like a terrible experience to me.
