In a world where AI can generate functional code from plain English specs, is there still a place for low-code platforms? Low-code was supposed to democratize app development, but if AI can do the same, and often easier, without the constraints of drag-and-drop builders, why bother? Are low-code tools becoming obsolete, or do they still have a niche? What’s your take? Keep in mind that neither AI code or low code solutions are perfect! But they can be functional for many tasks!

@gpowerf the limitations of low-code platforms act as guardrails, which (IMO) is a feature, not a bug – there should be limits to what you can produce with them I don’t expect the people who use either to understand that though (or to care if they do understand) 😕
