@adredish and this is my point. I'm not defending Microsoft, but:

- There is no 'industry standard' of 5 9s, that is insanely expensive and a generally undesirable cost/benefit.
- After MS acquired GitHub, its usage went up enormously, so you (and I) have no frame of reference to how its previous owners would have handled that growth. Perhaps MS did a great job, we cannot know.

@tastapod @adredish still, it seems a "what's the question?" issue here: do I want to know if MS is doing a good job? Maybe, as a (paying?) end user, I definitely do not care and I just want a (very) reliable service. And that chart shows exactly that.
