They promised me a #cyberpunk future full of sentient computer networks and bad-ass lady assassins in skintight fetishwear, and instead I got the one where ... (checks notes) ... people are sending me #phishing emails trying to compromise my electric toothbrush.

@angusm@mastodon.social Imagine of the bad guys had thought to try that in Mass Effect 3 through, the fate of the galaxy came down to an electric toothbrush. Not that Traynor was the kind of person who would fall for a phishing scam like that but still.
