I'm beginning to think that "ideas aren't the hard part" is something clung to by people who don't have good ideas that often.
Like, don't get me wrong, an idea is just a spark, and needs tinder and kindling and fuel to become a fire. But tinder doesn't burst into flames on its own.

@afeinman@wandering.shop No, but in my experience "having ideas" is just living your life enough that you have things to say about it and the urge to say them. You won't get many ideas by sitting in front of a computer with Mastodon open and asking other people if they've thought any new thoughts lately.
