@Irenetherogue I'm trying to convince myself that #BandcampFriday (May 1) is OK because all of the purchase price goes to the artists. But bandcamp is owned by a big company and has been bad on labor issues. 🤷♂️

@joelvanderwerf @Irenetherogue bandcamp are in their try and get people locked into the eco system stage with incentives like giving artists actual returns on their art. But 5 years once everyone is used to it ceos and marketing will start enshittifying. My take has been during artist fridays i buy music. Once they start clamping down, I'll delete my account. They serve me i dont serve them.
