I had a discussion with a non-techbro artist who said "but what if AI allows you to make the movie you've always dreamed of?" which is a legit question but my answer is that you're not making *your* movie, you're stumbling upon a latent space of everyone else's movies that has already been made. The whole business model is to make people feel like geniuses, so a pre-digested vector space of content was the perfect dopaminergic threadmill for whales to fund expensive video generation.
