I feel defeated.
Radios play generated songs, TV is ahowing generated ads, software I like is being taken over by 5 dudes with tokens, non-tech people are sending me images they generated themselves.
I can't avoid the slop even if I went offline. Everything looks like shit, everything sounds like shit. Nobody cares about quality, nuance, intent or craft.

@petrikas@mastodon.art I feel you. I really wish the pendulum could start swinging the other way and we'd see more human things again. Maybe once we reached the point of saturation (whenever that may be)... or when the venture capital is all burnt up.
