I agree and at the same time find that since most people already have a phone on them at all times, it seems like an obvious choice. What would an alternative to the mobilephone be in your opinion?

That still leaves 12% of EU's population (54 million people) unable to access key services due to age verfication. If the issue is protecting kids from what social media and other platforms show them, then the pressure should be on those platforms to fix the issue, not on the entire EU population of all ages.
