That said, it’s in our human nature as pack animals to be “compliant”, to not diverge from the herd and also in our society, they generally punish disobedience/divergence and in order to succeed, it’s not enough to be “competent”; you need to be “liked”/“integrated” to a degree. Also certain “temptation” are rooted in anxiety about one’s future, like their livelihood which is real and should be addressed head on.

The post really made me think about the extreme case, at what point does even the most "unconventional" person resort to conventional practices and thoughts of society.
