@Mr0@privacysafe.social @jonmsterling@mathstodon.xyz I think your interpretation is much closer to what the original post intended to convey. The post really made me think about the extreme case, at what point does even the most "unconventional" person resort to conventional practices and thoughts of society.

    @da1729@mathstodon.xyz @jonmsterling@mathstodon.xyz everyone conforms to a degree. it depends exactly what's the "conventional practice", I might be consider "unconventional", I'm a "I rather die by own sword" stubborn type of person but I still do conform to conventional norms of society to a degree. That said, if I lived in North Korea, I will be probably be overly "conventional" relative to the person I am now but I like to believe that me in North Korea will either attempt to escape or assassinate Kim Jong Un
