Ever since I retooted the “leaving maga” website I’ve been thinking about it and honestly? I could ~maybe~ pretend to look past it if someone genuinely regrets it. Like you know, care about that person’s feelings and stuff. If it helps others stop being maga I guess. But I don’t think I could ever fully stop being bitter about it. All the destruction and literal death, all the emboldening of the right everywhere else, all the lies, that’s still ongoing. It cannot be solved with “I’m sorry”.

It seems to me that it’s a bunch of people who, despite being warned, shown data, shown how everything was a blatant lie. Despite being SCREAMED at, that being part of the movement would be detrimental to everyone including themselves, they chose to go with it and it’s only now that the turd has hit the fan with sufficient force to fill the space between their red-tinted glasses and their eyes, then they’re all “Pikachu-faced” and “oh no this is bad”.
