@dnkboston countries are seeing how petroleum industry attracts criminals and their wars. Wind turbines should be getting a boost around the globe.

@timo21 Wind turbines aren't a panacea either. Given the disruption to ecosystems as well as the compromises required of many indigenous communities, I would rather see people just use less energy. https://news.mongabay.com/2025/03/brazil-communities-accuse-companies-of-green-grabbing-for-wind-energy/
