@mwt but you could readily replace it with something else, such as XT60 or Anderson

@dan I was thinking that I could find a qualified electrician to replace it with something else if needed. Was just hoping it wasn't some obscure proprietary anti-repair device.

@dan @mwt yeah, i know them as aviation connectors too, there are variants with many different amounts of pins. the most i have seen personally are 18, but i have seen pictures with plugs of this kind with ~10cm diameter and about seventy to a hundred pins.
