@BrambleBearSnoring@mastodon.ie @PermaSolarPotter@mastodon.green Consider a home made salted and pan roasted nuts made into paste as a local substitute. The shrimp paste quantities are small portion of the ingredients. Thus substituting or leaving the shrimp paste out are both valid. Sambal recipes are as numerous as the grains of rice in a kilogram.
