The NZ Police manual has been updated. In future, officers who encounter sovereign citizens and learn they hold a firearms licence are to refer the individuals to the Firearms Safety Authority for review.
Furthermore, "... where an officer suspects an individual represents a security threat, they should contact the National Security Group at the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet."
The days of treating cookers as harmless cranks are ending.

@BobLefridge@mastodon.nz surely declaring that you think the laws of New Zealand do not apply to you should be an instant disqualification from gun ownership. And most things that are privileges and not rights. Why would we trust people who don't consider the law to apply to them to obey the road rules?
