Robert Johnson - They're Red Hot Almost 90 years old. Just classic, an incredible song. https://youtu.be/4ehtcjrH7cs?si=a2lgt9IvQhsGvFrm #HotOrCold #JukeboxFridayNight

Bullion - God Only Knows The first track from Bullion's album "Songs in the Key of Dee", which is a mash up of J-Dilla and the Beach Boys album Pet Sounds. This is hands down my favourite mash up album, I listen to it regularly. Incredible. I don't know if you can download it any more, but I have a copy if you ask me nicely. https://youtu.be/icZ7Ij1nTdc #MusicMusiciansAndMashups #JukeboxFridayNight

Lynyrd Skynyrd - Sweet Home Alabama Having just shared Neil Young, I'm now sharing this for the line: "Well, I hope Neil Young will remember, a Southern man don't need him around anyhow." I do enjoy the story of how people thought Lynyrd Skynyrd and Neil Young had major beef, but actually the song is pretty tongue in cheek, and they all got along fine. https://youtu.be/6GxWmSVv-cY #JukeboxFridayNight #MusiciansAndMusic

I just realised something that makes it clear how terrible and unreasonable the coalition has been. Imagine if some variant of our left wing bloc get in next election, and operate the same way, under urgency the whole time moving society to the left as far as they can. What a terrible precedent that sets, having that be how governing is done; that level of fluctuation in the ground rules as normal, all across society, is corrosive.

RE: https://post.lurk.org/@grahamdunning/116318743488284424 If you have an interest in music as experimentation and exploration, this is worth your time. Graham has created a framework, a wonderful environment that puts his work in rich rich constraints that he finds so much to discover within.
