Oh and to keep the timeline straight: when I talk with this psychiatrist we'll be right before my 3 year HRT anniversary, and I have no clue how long the psychiatrist will want to talk with me before approving anything

how does one even determine if someone should get bottom surgery?Coming back to this, I just read through the adult section of the WPATH SoC v8, and as far as I can tell the answer is "check that their gender dysphoria is persistent and that they're capable of understanding and consenting to care". That's encouraging, at least
