This practice is in a gatekeeper role, which I really wish wasn't required, but at least they don't seem to be antagonistic or believe any weird disproven Blanchard ideas.
Hopefully my opinion of them remains high as I go through this process.

I had my second appointment today, this time with the "case manager". The person I'll be mostly working with at this practice reports to this person. The appointment was scheduled to last 60 minutes, but ended after 18. She said that there's no psychiatric reason for us to meet, it's just required by the bureaucracy, and it sounds like they'll be doing what they can to make this sign-off fast and uneventful. I'm optimistic that there won't be much bullshit for me to navigate going forward. At least the vibes are good at this point.
