I had my second appointment today, this time with the "case manager". The person I'll be mostly working with at this practice reports to this person.
The appointment was scheduled to last 60 minutes, but ended after 18. She said that there's no psychiatric reason for us to meet, it's just required by the bureaucracy, and it sounds like they'll be doing what they can to make this sign-off fast and uneventful.
I'm optimistic that there won't be much bullshit for me to navigate going forward. At least the vibes are good at this point.

I had another appointment yesterday. It was rather uneventful. I suspect this will be the theme of this thread for the next few months. Specifically, this appointment was to go over the plan of what we'll need to cover to get all the bureaucratic boxes checked for this. Which is something they already explained to me. The appointment ended 30 minutes early. I asked if we could use the extra time to start checking those boxes, and was told no. My next appointment is in a month and a half.
