@jadp 💯 When I studied it in 2000, it was just a fancy name for machine “learning” (which wasn’t really learning, kinda training, kinda just math) which was itself just a fancy name for linear algebra. I also learned roughly the same year that robotics was also just a fancy name for reverse kinematics which was just a fancy name for linear algebra. :)
