When investigating Proto-Indo-European for my WIP, I learned about *gʷḗn - the reconstructed word for 'woman.' It developed different ways through different groups, and occasionally descendants from various lines would meet up in the same language. Like English. That word became 'queen.' But by a different route, it became 'cunt' as well. 🤔
